I just received a trial magazine of Dr. Oz’s new magazine The Good Life. It’s a nice magazine! I don’t know if I’ll subscribe to it, but I did get some nice ideas out of this one. The Superfood Smoothies caught my eye & this week I’ve been making the Morning Boost Smoothie. Here’s his recipe:
& here’s how I did it:
Instead of coconut water I added a 1/2 cup of almond milk with a 1/4 of water. I also added Kale cubes. I blended down kale that was getting old with a little water & froze them in ice cube trays to add to these smoothies later. I also substituted greek yogurt for plain yogurt.
